Netflix has a certified hit with its Love Is Blind series. The show just completed its third season, and already has two international spin-offs, Love Is Blind: Japan and Love Is Blind: Brazil. A third version, Love Is Blind: UK is set to premiere sometime in 2024.
Like The Bachelor/The Bachelorette, the show is far more about entertainment than actual love, but we can’t help but root for contestants anyway as they embark on one of the strangest social experiments ever devised. Rather than go on typical dates, cast members get to know each other through walls, speed-dating with contestants of the opposite gender until they decide who they want to be engaged with. Only after couples pair up can they see each other in person. While the show may say it wants to prove “if love is truly blind,” it’s clear audiences are less curious about the answer to that question, and far more intrigued by all the drama that comes with discovering who people truly are outside of the pods.
Season 3 gave exactly what the people wanted. Two couples actually ended up married (and as far as we know are still together), while the Season 3 reunion featured two of the most talked about couples, Raven and SK and Zanab and Cole as they all discussed the highs and lows of their relationships.
As far as reality shows go, Love Is Blind is a show with an impressive filming time. Once a season is over, a new one takes its place soon after. Will Love Is Blind Have a Season 4?
Love Is Blind is already renewed for both Season 4 and 5, according to Entertainment Tonight. And Women’s Health talked to Nick Lachey, who revealed the show is already filmed through Season 5.
When Is Love Is Blind Season 4 Coming to Netflix?
No official word yet on when Season 4 will land on Netflix, but in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, co-host Vanessa Lachey gave three words hinting at the next season: “Soon. Marriage. Runaway.”
Although the show hasn’t announced where the next season will be set, a Seattle newspaper reported the show was filming in the city around May 2022, meaning at least one season already had contestants fully engaged to be married as of last year. We’re not sure yet if Seattle will be Season 4 or 5.
Who Will Be in the Cast for Love Is Blind Season 4?
We don’t know who will be cast in the next season, but according to Nick Lachey in his interview with Women’s Health, he’s proud of the diverse casting the show’s taken in recent seasons, and expects it’ll reflect on screen. “Speaking as someone who’s there from day one, and sees all the people that are there from day one, I do think that they’ve done a good job of trying to cast diversely and will continue to. You’ll see that in Season Three and Four and Five.”
