Peloton’s popularity rocketed during the pandemic, as gym-goers looked for new ways to train at home. But these days, many of us are keen to work out somewhere more inspiring than our spare rooms. Well, whichever camp you belong to, there’s good news: Peloton recently opened a state-of-the-art studio in London.
Less a gym, more of a film set, the studio produces Peloton’s UK and German content, and now provides IRL classes to both members and non-members.
The vast space boasts three studios – one bike, one tread and one ‘flex’ for strength and cardio. Glass walls reveal the control rooms, where the production team beavers away producing content for Peloton’s seven million-strong audience.
This is not your average spin class. ‘Members get the chance to meet each other and their favourite instructors – and everyone loves seeing behind the scenes,’ says Pete Flamman, Peloton’s head of content. There’s no obligation to appear on camera unless you want to (most people do).
A class costs a flat rate of £25 and there are no bundle deals; with high demand for places, Peloton wants to give everyone an opportunity to experience the studio. With an on-site juice bar, members’ room and shop, there’s enough to entice Peloton sceptics and addicts alike.

The site’s impressive square footage. The build has taken over four years, and required the creation of three bespoke TV studios, as well as the fitness spaces, plush changing rooms and communal areas.

Of Peloton’s 50 instructors, 18 stream from London, and many members are keen to meet them. ‘A guy flew in from Texas to attend his favourite trainer’s class,’ says Flamman.
