Kate Hudson and fiancé-slash-baby daddy Danny Fujikawa stunned at the red carpet premiere of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery—the much-anticipated follow up to the cinematic perfection that was Knives Out—this November in Los Angeles. The actress and musician were all smiles and laughs while cuddling up together to get their picture taken by paparazzi.
ICYDK: The pair first sparked dating rumors in March 2017 when they were spotted kissing while out on a lunch date in Los Angeles, per People. They made their red carpet debut shortly thereafter, in May, at the premiere of Snatched in Los Angeles. There, the Almost Famous star—who attended the premiere in support of her mom, Goldie Hawn—was spotted sharing a smooch with her new man, per The Daily Mail.
And while the couple didn’t start dating until a few years ago, they have known each other for over two decades. In an Instagram post to mark their one-year anniversary, the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress shared that she first met the former Chief frontman when she was 23 and heavily pregnant with her first child, Ryder. In true friends-to-lovers fashion, on their 15th year of knowing each other, Danny took Kate on what she thought was a friendly hike; but, this hangout between pals unexpectedly ended up being their first date (talk about a meet-cute).
In September 2021, the fitness-fueled and jet-setting pair announced their engagement via a sweet Instagram post of them leaning in for a kiss, captioned “Let’s go! 👰♀️💒🤵🏻♂️.” The next day, Kate showed off her gorgeous (and, might I say, huge) diamond ring at the Met Gala.
But you don’t need Benoit Black to suss out the secrets of this ‘ship. Instead, WH tapped body language expert Karen Donaldson to analyze the couple’s hand placements and gestures throughout their five-year relationship. Ahead, she shares her insight on what Kate and Danny’s body language reveals about their love story.
