Coinciding with National Women’s Health Week, the UNC Center for Women’s Health Research launched its third Women’s Health Research Poster Presentation and Awards Program showcasing research being done by faculty and staff, graduate and undergraduate students, and postdocs, including residents and fellows, of UNC-Chapel Hill.
Coinciding with National Women’s Health Week, the UNC Center for Women’s Health Research (CWHR) has launched its third Women’s Health Research Poster Presentation & Awards Program showcasing research being done by faculty and staff, graduate and undergraduate students, and postdocs, including residents and fellows, of UNC-Chapel Hill.
Abstracts were reviewed and judged on the following criteria: impact to the delivery of health care in North Carolina, the evaluation of sex as a biological variable, multidisciplinary science, impact on health equity, and overall scientific value.
Awards, which will be announced on Thursday, May 18, will be distributed to the highest-scored submissions in the following categories:
- Best Poster by an Undergraduate Student ($400)
- Best Poster by a Graduate Student, Resident, or Fellow ($500)
- and Best Poster by Faculty or Staff ($600)
