New South Wales Labor has announced a significant increase in funding for women’s health to $60 million over three years and $100 million over the next five if they win the election in March.
There are 20 women’s health centres across NSW, mainly in western Sydney and regional areas.
The centres have not had a funding increase since 1986, apart from CPI increases, with the funding for all centres currently being $11 million per year.
